PUNE: A special court here has rejected the bail plea of the director of a city-based shares and commodities broking firm involved in an alleged investment fraud worth over Rs 11.24 crore. The director and his associates had collected money between 2010 and 2011 from several investors in Loni Kalbhor, Yawat, Shikrapur and Daund after promising them interest at the rate of 8% to 10% per month.
